A Return to Blogspot

A few years back, I bought the daynwj.com domain, and three years of web hosting, in the interest of creating my own web site.  Other than initially creating that site, and writing a few posts (which I've transferred here), I was so inactive that when the notification came to renew those domain and hosting subscriptions, I couldn't justify spending the money required, when I barely used it.

I've always enjoyed writing, however, and having a blog allows me to do just that, though for the much more agreeable price of free.  I originally created this blog after graduating from Transy, when I'd moved up to Wisconsin for a few months.  Rather than starting over from scratch, this seemed the perfect choice.  While I can't really store a lot of photos here, I'm able to have a gadget that ties in to my Flickr photo stream, so everything is easily available from one location.  And since Blogger is a Google product, everything is even more secure with their top-notch security.

The title of this blog has changed slightly, but I still feel that the Ray Bradbury quote is a perfect description of my goals with this blog -- this is my own personal forum to explore and debate the intricacies of my daily life in more depth than Facebook could ever allow.  If you're reading this, I can't promise a regular update schedule, but hopefully this will give a bit of an insight into who I am and why I think the way I do -- or at least how I think on certain issues.  If you don't agree with something I've said, please feel free to comment -- but remember that everything stated here is my own opinion.
